S57 Portable Bravia TVs
If you've ever wanted to watch a different channel to your partner, or wished you could crawl into bed and watch your Bravia, the S57 is for you. Sony have released a dinky portable Bravia you can take with you into any room, or even on holiday.
The S57 is a stylish little TV that has a slim 19" HD ready LCD screen and is designed to be moved around easily. It's lightweight and super-portable.
As well as HDMI connections, there's a handy USB port. Download some movies, whack them on your USB stick and then enjoy them in bed, at the office, in the kitchen or even on holiday. The S57 weighs just over 5kg, which isn't too bad if you're going on a UK holiday and want to take your own TV.
The S57 comes with built-in Freeview and it has to be said that, even for a Sony product, the design is fantastic. There's no hard edges, and you can choose from a number of subdued colour hues, such as pale blue and pink.
The picture quality is what you'd expect from a Bravia, and this set is packed with the features you'd get on Sony's larger sets. You can expect 8000:1 contrast, Bravia Engine 2 and rich colours thanks to Live Colour. Surprisingly for a set this size, it also has 24p True Cinema too. There's also some essential extras such as a clock and a built in stand.
